William White, Ph.D.
Bill's formal training is in education, counseling, theology, and exercise science. He holds a doctorate and a master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh, has completed courses at the Reformed Theological Seminary and Pittsburgh Seminary, and on two occasions, studied at L'Abri Fellowship in Switzerland. He is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist, American Council on Exercise Medical Exercise Specialist, and National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist. Bill also has served as a mediator for two national providers of alternate dispute resolution services.
In addition to his former role as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Bill has worked in various leadership roles for several not-for-profit organizations: Pittsburgh inner-city director and later national training specialist with Young Life; lecturer, church consultant, and curriculum director for the Ligonier Valley Study Center (now Ligonier Ministries in Florida); and corporate university leader for the Aging Research and Education Center with Lutheran Affiliated Services. His role as director of health initiatives for Christian Care Ministry in Florida included extensive work with pastors. He has also taught several seminary courses.
Amy White, M.A., LPC
Amy holds a B.A. in Psychology, Skidmore College, and M.A. in Professional Psychology, Geneva College. She has served in leadership roles for three non-profit agencies: Adminstrative Manager for Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Vice President of Organizational Development at Christian Care Ministry in Melbourne, and Chief of Operations for Covenent House of Georgia in Atlanta. She has been strategically involved in human resource/people management; facilities, and operational roles; staff and leadership development; conflict management and resolution; community/partner building; and strategic planning.
Amy is licensed as a mental health counselor in the states of Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Amy has extensive experience as a speaker, educator, coach, counselor, co-strategist, and as a therapist in private practice, and in the inpatient and outpatient clinical setting. Public speaking has included churches, universities, organizations, women's groups, and national conference workshops.
